Sydney Genomics Collaborative and MGRB

The Sydney Genomics Collaborative (SGC) is a $24 million, four-year investment by the NSW State Government in using genetic technologies to improve patient outcomes.

The progam is completed. A historical description is here.

The Medical Genome Reference Bank (MGRB), an initiative of the SGC, is described here.

Researchers intending to apply for access to the MGRB dataset should read the background, policies and procedures described here.

The vectis genome variant browser, which previously provided open tier access to MGRB genomic data, is currently unavailable. A replacement browser is planned.
